A BIKE store in Winchester is hosting a family day to celebrate its launch and opening.
Bespoke Biking Café and Workshop in Kings Walk is hosting the event on May 21 and will offer free children’s bike checks, discounted breakfasts and a free map of a cycling route around town.
People have the choice of exploring the route on their own or joining the guided ride leaving the cafe around 11am with options to play poop on the river and climb St. Catherine Hill along the way.
Bespoke Biking is a social enterprise that grew from a market stall, then shared premises with Open House Deli and now has its own café and workshop in Kings Walk.

Heather Evans, Founder and Director, said, “I am so proud of everyone who has been involved in our journey and to see how the business has grown is incredible. Bex and I joined forces three years ago and Open House Deli and Bespoke Biking have flourished and now have their own premises next to each other.
“We repair bikes, we rent bikes and we train people to fix their bikes. We were also able to offer refurbished bicycles for asylum seekers and those who needed them, such as young carers. We have a team of volunteers who are bike heroes who help refurbish donated bikes for sale or for those in need.
