Revolt RV400 Electric Bike Price In India Reduced After FAME II Modifications
Since the Ministry of Heavy Industry Ministries announced an increase in subsidies to manufacturers of electric two-wheelers as part of recent revisions to the FAME II program, electric vehicle manufacturers have passed on these benefits to customers in the form of ‘a lower price. Manufacturers of electric two-wheelers like Ather, TVS and Okinawa have revealed reduced prices for their electric vehicles. The latest company to join this list is Revolt Motors, which reduced the price of the RV400 electric motorcycle in India. The electric bike that was previously retailed at 1.19 lakh is now getting a price of ₹ 1.07 lakh. This is a price drop of 12,000. However, if you are planning to purchase the RV400 in Delhi, the additional Delhi EV policy subsidy will further reduce the cost of the electric bike to 90,799. This is a benefit of 28,200. Such a large price drop is likely to increase sales of the RV400 in India. The Indian electric vehicle maker has yet to announce revised pricing for the RV300 motorcycle, but we hope to find out tomorrow when Revolt bikes are again available for bookings in Chennai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Delhi, Pune and Mumbai.
The Revolt RV400 was the first fully electric motorcycle to be launched in India and remains one of the more cost effective options in the segment. It is equipped with a 4 hp electric motor that allows the bike to reach a top speed of 85 km / h and promises a range of 150 km / h. It can be fully charged in less than four hours and has three driving modes: Eco, Normal, Sport. Besides its powertrain, what also helps the RV400’s housing are the inverted forks and the adjustable mono-shock with an aluminum swingarm.
The RV400 is also quite feature rich and has a fully digital LCD console, remote control, on / off button and artificial exhaust note. In addition to this, buyers can use the Revolt app to access features like geolocation, finding the nearest battery switch station, locating the bike with a map guide, bike diagnostics, etc.
